Why hello Gwen Stefani for Urban Decay! Lets take a minute to admire the detail and beauty of this packaging! I knew the moment I saw this palette I had to have it. This had such a great mix of blushes, bronzers and highlights.
This little gem retails for $45.00 on the Urban Decay website. With six pans with 2.8 g of product totaling 16.8 g, thats some serious bang for your buck.
Swatches from left to right
"Cherry", "Easy", "Angel", "Lo-Fi", "Hush" and "OC"
I wish I could capture this palettes true beauty. I will try my best with words to describe why I love this palette and how this became my new travel companion.
At first glance, giving this palette the sideways eyes 👀 due to only having two matte shades, those eyes quickly changes to hearts 😍. "Cherry" a soft Barbie doll pink blush and "Lo-Fi" a light warm bronzer are the only mattes. I'm all for a sparkle and some glow but I was seriously giving this pallet some doubts until I swatched it. "Easy" is a deep raspberry blush with gold reflect. "Angel" is a bronzy/gold glowing highlight. "Hush" is a soft mauve blush with a satin glow. I saved the best for last, "OC" this is truly deceiving in the pan. "OC" is an opalescence highlight! How could I not love these blushes, bronzers and highlights?
From review I had seen on YouTube, this was being reviewed as a palette for lighter skin tones. I'm more of an olive with yellow undertones and this looks stunning on my skin. I think this this is a great palette for any skin tone.
This is limited edition and I'm glad I was able to get this before it was gone. Not only and I a huge fan of Gwen Stefani, I am a huge fan of this palette.
Till next time,
Amber
