Cabaret Voltaire - Red Mecca

On this date in 1981, Cabaret Voltaire released their fourth vinyl album, Red Mecca. The album did not produce any singles but the album did reach the #1 spot on the U.K. indie albums chart. The Sheffield, England band had been around as an experimental music band as early as 1973.
